4G Upgrade Program
Planning your Migration to 4G Alarm Communications

While Telstra’s 3G Network Closure is slated for October 2024 we have had many customers already who have been required to move to a 4G alarm monitoring device. This appears to be due to a degradation of the 3G signal in some areas. Maintaining the integrity and signal strength of 3G network is not a priority as 4G & 5G technology is implemented and now available in many areas.

Migration is easy
​
Migrating from 3G to 4G alarm communications is a simple and relatively inexpensive process. A simple hardware update is all that is required. Our technician will have the upgrade completed in about an hour.

Telstra switched off 3G connectivity on its 2100MHz spectrum on March 25, 2019, but will continue to operate 3G services on its 850MHz spectrum until June 2024.
